All results are since 1980 unless indicated otherwise.
To determine the 100% situational angle, read the 'Play On' or 'Play Against' parameters
outlined in the 2010 BLACK BOOK™ and simply add the following subset...
College Football: 19th NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. Subset: if ‘Play Against’ team is off a SU home favorite conference loss of 20 or less ponts and is playing with revenge versus an opponent that allows 28 or less ppg. ATS W-L Record: 0-18.
College Football: BEASTS OF BURDEN. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team is off a win of more than three points and allows 24.5 or less ppg and is facing a .700 or less non-conference opponent that was not a double-digit favorite and did not cover the spread by six or more points in its last game. ATS W-L Record: 13-0.
College Football: GET OFF MY CLOUD. Subset: if ‘Play Against’ team is off a SU home favorite conference loss of 20 or less points and is playing with revenge versus an opponent that allows 28 or less ppg. ATS W-L Record: 0-18.
College Football: TUMBLING DICE. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team is off a double-digit spread loss in which it lost the game by 24 or less points and is facing a .500 or less opponent as a favorite or dog of less than four points. ATS W-L Record: 15-0.
College Football: RUBY TUESDAY. Subset: if ‘Play Against’ team won its last game by 52 or less points and is facing an opponent off a win of five or more points. ATS W-L Record: 0-17.
NFL: LET’S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team is a dog or favorite of less than six points and is off an ATS win and is facing a .400 or greater opponent. ATS W-L Record: 16-0.
NFL: PAINT IT BLACK. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team was a dog of six or more points in its last game and is facing a sub .500 opponent and the Over/Under total in this game is 36 or more points. ATS W-L Record: 17-0.
NFL: START ME UP. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team is facing an avenging non-division opponent that won four or more games last season. ATS W-L Record: 17-0-1.
NFL: TIME IS ON MY SIDE. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team is a dog of six or more points and facing an opponent that has lost at least one game this season provided that opponent did not win its last game by more than 17 points and the Over/Under in this game is 34 or more points. ATS W-L Record: 17-0.
NFL: UNDER MY THUMB. Subset: if ‘Play On’ team won five or ore games last season and is playing an opponent off a SU and ATS loss in which it lost straight up by 10 or more points. ATS W-L Record: 15-0.
