Back in October, it was reported on that an NCAA legislation would be starting next year that would allow a full scholarship athlete to receive an additional $2,000 to cover miscellaneous expenses. This permissive legislation was passed by the NCAA Board of Directors (College Presidents) as emergency legislation and was not vetted through the normal review process.

Basketball officiating is a tricky subject to discuss, but I do have some thoughts I would like to share with you. This past weekend the CSU men's basketball team struggled to adjust to the officials during a three day, three game tournament in Rhode Island. CSU's opponents in the first two games attempted (75) free throws to (24) for the Vikings.
