The Philadelphia Phillies are my pick to win the 2010 World Series. starting pitchers Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, and Cole Hamels are all pitching great baseball. The Phillies lineup is as good as any team in baseball. Lead off hitter Jimmy Rollins who has been slowed by injuries is good to in the playoffs. Second baseman Chase Utley is one the best hiters in the National league.

For my money the best 3 teams in the American League reside in the American East. Tampa Bay is now in first in the AL East a half a game in front of the Yankees. The Red Sox will finish third in the AL EAST.

The Red sox are 5.5 games behind Tampa Bay and the Yankees for the Wild Card in the AL East. The Red sox have lost Kevin Youkilis, Dustin Pedroia, and Jacoby Ellsbury for the remainder of the season.
