The Cincinnati Reds on Top of the NL Central
Posted: 2010-07-08
The Cincinnati Reds lead the National League in runs scored and that is the main reason why this team currently leads its division. Coming into this season, the Reds expected big things out of first baseman Joey Votto and he has not disappointed. The all-star currently has 21 homeruns and 59 RBIs, while hitting .318 on the season.

The San Diego Padres on Top of the NL West
Posted: 2010-07-08
Make no mistake about it, the San Diego Padres are on top of the NL West division because of their outstanding pitching staff. While other division leaders in the Major Leagues, with the possible exception of the Cincinnati Reds, have relied on a mostly balanced attack to succeed, the Padres have simply not scored enough this season and, therefore, their margin for error has been extremely small.

The Atlanta Braves on Top of the NL East
Posted: 2010-07-08
The Atlanta Braves currently sit atop of a very competitive NL East division, even though they have not been a particularly dominant team this season. Offensively, they are being led by Martin Prado, who is currently batting .331, and Troy Glaus, who has 14 homeruns and 56 RBIs. Glaus is a bit of a surprise this season, as he was limited to only 29 at bats in 2009.

Why You Should Bet on MLB by Vernon Croy
Posted: 2010-05-06
The best sport to wager on is Major League Baseball and it has been for many years because there is just so much value with several games being played everyday and yet it astounds me how few people bet on MLB. If you want to make money betting on sports and you do not wager on MLB then you are cheating yourself out of a lot of money and you are definitely not a professional sports bettor.

Vernon Croy's March Madness Betting
Posted: 2010-03-10

March Madness is the U.S. college basketball championships, also known as the NCAA Tournament. It covers both men's and women's NCAA college tournaments, which take place throughout March to determine the men's and women's college basketball champs in the U.S. The tournament starts with 64 teams and after each round of play, the number of teams is whittled down until only two men's and two women's teams are left. Those two games are played for the men's and womens championships.
