(1) Cleveland Cavaliers (46-14) The Cavaliers have the best record in the league despite have several changes to their roster. Lebron James is leading the way for this team. He is poised to win another MVP winning every Player of the Month this season. The Cavaliers won three of four games only losing against the Bucks when head coach Mike Brown gave LeBron James the night off.

(2) Los Angeles Lakers (46-18) The Lakers had a slight edge on the Cavaliers coming into the Month of March, but have fallen behind after going losing three of their last four games. The three loses were on the road to Miami, Charlotte and Orlando. Nothing to be alarmed about if your a Laker fan. Every time the Lakers take the court they are always going to get their opponents best effort. The defending champions are still the team to beat in the West.

(3) Orlando Magic (44-20) The Magic are coming off their biggest win of the season beating the Lakers 96-94. The Magic have won five straight games and 19 of their last 23 games. Vince Carter is starting to light up thew scoreboard averaging 17.8 points over the last five games and Jameer Nelson is healthy and creating for his teammates.

(4) Dallas Mavericks (43-21) The Mavericks have come out of the trade deadline firing from the hip and are the hottest team in the league with 11 straight wins. The next three opponents, Minnesota, New Jersey and New York have a combined record of .226. Despite the injuries the Maverick could easily sweep all three games this week. Jason Terry is out due to injury and rookie Rodrique Beaibois took up the slack by dropping 24 points, dished out five assists and snatched five rebounds. The Mavericks are a deep and dangerous team.

(5) Denver Nuggets (42-21) The Denver Nuggets with Kenyon Martin were the top threat in the West to the Lakers. Martin is Denver's best post defender and is having one of the best seasons in his career with 21 double-doubles, six shy of his season best 27. The Nuggets have the offense to outscore teams and Nene will have to pick up the slack in the paint. This week's schedule has the Nuggets playing three road games in four nights.
