Spanky from Atlanta wonders: Is it just me or is 'our gang' (the Atlanta Braves) growing old in the tooth?

Marc Says... You're correct. According to MLB.com the Braves have the oldest roster by age (30.4) off all teams in the league this year. For that they can thank the 44-year old 'Pillsbury Dough Boy', Bartolo Colon. FYI: The San Diego Padres have the youngest team (26.9).

Thought For The Day
Final Report Cards

The NBA draft has concluded and with it a record number of 'one and dones' will join the league next season. So much for the old NBA adage reminding kids to 'Stay in School'. To see the grades on how each team fared click here.

Today's Scorecard

It's Better to Pass

MLB's best pitcher, Clayton Kershaw, has cashed in his last nine starts and is 14-2 home in his career against Colorado. But we simply can't lay this kind of price, especially considering Tyler Chatwood's strong road tendencies. Instead, call out the insurance card and take a pass.

Grinding Out The Profits

This Price is Not Right

Boston's David Price is 1-4 his last five starts against the Angels, and is off a phony 'inside-out' win his last start in which he hurled 5 innings while allowing 11 batters to reach base in a 6-5 win at Houston. We'll look to the heavens here, as it's the Halos or bust tonight.
