Can I switch between plans or cancel at any time?

Yes, you can switch plans or cancel anytime! Just go to your account settings, open the Billing menu, and manage your subscription under “Subscriptions & Add-ons.” Changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Are there restrictions on free plans?

Playbook is for original creative work. We do not allow storing explicit or pirated content, even for private use, and we disable accounts that violate this policy. See our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, or reach out if you have any questions.

What happens after the storage limit?

If you’re on a free plan, upgrade to Pro or Team to unlock more space.

If you’re on Pro or Team already, any additional storage you’ve used is automatically added to your bill at $25/TB/mo.

Are there other limits?

There are a few extra limits. These aren't intended to get in the way of normal use, just to protect us from abuse.

Some video files (e.g. mkv) can't be played in-app due to technical reasons, so we can only support playback via streaming (on Pro and Team plans).

We have a download limit of 10GB at a time due to processing load required. Pro/Team plans increase this to 100GB.

We don't allow large (1GB+) ZIP, RAR, or encrypted files on free plans, because these are used to circumvent our terms.

What are admins, members, and collaborators?

We support three user roles:

Admins have full control over the team, permissions, and all import sources.

Members can upload and organize assets, comment, invite other members, and invite collaborators to boards.

Collaborators are invited to specific board(s). They have limited workspace permissions, but can be given either view-only or edit rights within those board(s). Ideal for clients, external partners, and third-party agencies.
