What is a PodCast?
PodCasting is like a magazine subscription, you can listen to radio programs or events whenever and wherever you choose. PodCasts are video or audio files that are automatically downloaded to your personal computer, and then played or transferred to an iPod or other digital media player using a PodCast program.
What equipment do I need?
The basic requirements for listening to PodCast are a computer (PC or Mac), PodCasting software (like iTunes) and an Internet connection. For portability, an iPod or other digital media player is needed.
How do I get started?
Simply download and install PodCasting software onto your computer. Although programs vary, each will provide instructions on how to add a PodCast feed to your list. Then, just add this uri:
to your software's list of feeds or subscriptions.
Already have a PodCast application?
Simply add
to your program's list of feeds.
That's it. From now on, as soon as we publish the show, it will automatically download in the background and be waiting for you to listen to. All you have to do is click play!
