When I first moved to Los Angeles, I lived in a 240 square foot bungalow - a creative cave. I felt inspired by every little thought and idea as if each one was a rock containing a precious gem just waiting to be extracted and polished. Loglines, goals, observations, musings on life - all categorically clustered into sticky-back cairns up on the wall. I planted 3 cork boards over the mania, a 3-act structure, hoping those sticky-back seeds would sprout into some sort of cohesive project and grow.
