Artist statement
Hello Playbook Community! I'm Stacie, a Russian-Ukrainian artist applying to create Threads of Time — an animated series featuring looping digital paintings that reimagine Slavic mythology using modern digital tools. What's Threads of Time about? The project will celebrate peace and unity in Eastern Europe by focusing on the mythology, rituals, and fairy tales that bind the cultures of Russia and Ukraine. By conducting in-depth research and using AI and 3D animation, I’ll bring these mythical characters and stories to life in a modern way.
