This rock is one of many that are shifted hapazardly by the daily tides at Traeth Cei Bach, Wales. They present a beautifully disorganised jumble that changes the beach landscape dramatically overnight. I was drawn to this one as it seemed aloof from the rest, preferring to nestle in its own crater revealing multiple layers of progressive water erosion. It's an image that explores light and shadow and a myriad of metaphors in minimalism.

Intriguing image - there's an ambiguity to the scale that draws me in, as I cannot work out the size of the rock. Love it.

This photo takes my breath away. It perfectly captures the interconnectedness between all the elements of nature producing such a glorious work of art . It's transcendental.
