Artist statement

Sharing a portfolio that captures queer and historically overlooked communities in their most candid, vulnerable states—where emotional layers rise and everyday gestures become quietly extraordinary. These images explore intimacy as both camouflage and revelation, unveiling nontraditional beauty through raw exposure. Centering queer love, chosen family, and connection, this work invites viewers to witness the quiet power, tenderness, and radiant presence hidden in plain sight.

Wishing you the very best of luck with this, your work is beautiful and important so keep going! My partner and are both freelance creatives (actors/photographer) and it’s the most wonderful life but it ain’t no joke at times how hard it can be to stay afloat whilst holding on to our creativity right?! We are also at the beginning of our reciprocal IVF journey and it’s been really inspiring to see how you and your Wife have navigated things as even our queer friends here in London with kids haven’t built their families in quite the same way. So thank you, for the art and for sharing your story on how beautiful (and challenging) our lives can be. Lots of love and luck from here in 🇬🇧📸 🌈 🙂💪👏
