Naveszn Official is the brand of Evan Lawson, a filmmaker, creative director, graphic designer and content creator whose biblically based work includes the short films The Rose and Love Ya Neighbor. This is the 2024 Playbook Imagination Fund application Evan Lawson submitted under the Naveszn name.
Artist statement
My name is Evan Lawson. I am a: LOVER OF CHRIST • FILMMAKER • CREATIVE DIRECTOR • GRAPHIC DESIGNER • CONTENT CREATOR Honestly, I just create with the intent to spread the gospel of Christ outside of church in unconventional ways. I graduated from Howard University (2017) with a BA in Strategic, Legal and Mmgt Communication with a concentration in PR and a minor in Graphic Design & Columbia University with a Masters in Strategic Communication (2018). I've been creative directing since the sandbox. I'm a mom. Every project that you see below is biblically based. I've never seen another me and I'm glad that you all have come to my personal TED talk. My goal is ultimately to have a Digital Media Network (TV Network) called Naveszn Official Networks. My brand is Naveszn.
