Terry French (La Terrance D. French) is an artist, game developer and technologist. This is Terry French's 2024 Playbook Imagination Fund application to expand Mamba GO, a game that fuses generative art and gaming, with an evolving algorithm that creates unpredictable challenges.
Artist statement
My creative journey has been a blend of technology, art, and storytelling. I have always been fascinated by the intersection of algorithms and creativity, which led to the development of Mamba GO. My work spans generative art, where code itself evolves into an interactive and visual experience. By using mediums like game development software, AI, and graphic design, I explore themes of transformation, unpredictability, and digital life. Each project is an opportunity to merge art and technology, creating immersive experiences that challenge conventional boundaries. I will be exhibiting Mamba GO on October 13, 2024
