Artist statement
As an artist with dyslexia, I view the world as if everything exists all at once. My creativity stems from having seen the world as neurotypical people describe it, but with an ability to perceive it as a collective whole—even down to the smallest details. Every word, shape, and nuance comes at me simultaneously. My art reflects this abstract and interconnected experience, with each piece representing the lines that connect into a larger, cohesive visual. Through my photography, I aim to capture the world exactly as I see it—layered, detailed, and deeply intertwined.

Hi Mykah, I don't know if you realize this but you seem to have only submitted your 'past work' section of your proposal. You haven't included your project proposal. Since they've extended the deadline to October 10th, you probably have time to re-submit or edit your proposal on to your current entry so you don't miss out. Your art is really fascinating.
