Artist statement
Hi I'm Ty AKA Duality. I'm a multidisciplinary designer, organizer, DJ, and brand owner based in Miami Beach, Florida. I've been always involved in the arts since the early age of 10, going to the artschool route all the way from middle school to college, where I studied design. Spent some time in Savannah Georgia at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), graduating 2020 literal months before the pandemic. In the downtime I was designing a ton of flyers & branding for parties that were doing renegade, which got my foot in the door for getting involved for the local music community.
