The scene of the dark sky, white buildings, and construction work emphasize the warm vibrance of the Christmas market below. The crookedness of the shot adds to the feeling of chaos that the bright lights and crowds sort of give off. The entire scene is fairly busy, and encapsulates perfectly to me the feeling of being in a foreign country all by myself for the first time and taking the moment to just take it all in, even when I felt off-kilter at times.
