This painting is called The Spirit of the Conifer view. Inspired by my road trip on the Nullaboor, a 2500km road between Perth and Melbourne. The landscape is harsh, beautiful, boring, exciting, all at the same time. My painting pays respect to the First Nation peoples and the free settlers for bridging the West and East Coast of Australia.
