I have a crippling chronic condition called Fibromyalgia, where your brain interprets all stimuli it receives as pain. There is no cure. I became an artist to process the new world I now live in. I think about how a woman's body is a battlefield, fought over by societies for centuries long, and how we carry that pain in our bodies. In a new universe, those same centres of pain become eyes looking back at the world, with a defiant fist. Behind her, she carries a vortex. SHE is all-consuming.

    I am very touched by your work...looking at your work I had the feeling that each point of color was a point of pain. I had fibromyalgia and I cured myself...so there are ways to get out of it, I am living proof. My testimony was the subject of a book which I called "The Courage to Heal", and soon I will be promoting the method with which I was able to overcome this terrible and debilitating disease.
