I just watched it last year on streaming, during a time in my life where I was turning 30, on the rebound of similar situation and my life changed."You might just make it after all"and"How will you make it on your own?"struck me during the theme song.I knew then, it was time to develop a show that told the story of Lucky.[LUCKY, 28] Moves to the city on the rebound of a traumatic roommate situation. He quickly gets a job and rents a studio apartment from a college friend. He has a hard time paying for it on his Remote- Associate Producer job at a local news station. The story continues with Lucky dealing with his life, career, friendships -old and new, self acceptance and transitioning from one chapter to the next.My intention is to tell a story that people can connect with, laugh at, and see themselves.
