Hi, I'm Quinn! I started my artistic career in theatrical directing, where I directed musicals such as High School Musical and The Last Five Years.

Producing

Directing

During college, I discovered that film is my true passion, and I worked tirelessly to gain experience. I interned for Playground Entertainment and Film Fatales, where I met Cynthia Wade—an Oscar-winning film director. Cynthia took me under her wing, and I worked my way up from Production Assistant to Associate Producer in only two years. The highlight of my time with her was associate producing Merpeople (Netflix).

After working for Cynthia, I knew it was time to start creating my own projects. One of my favorite experiences was making Final Reprise, a film about my grandmother's transformation while caring for my grandfather with Alzheimer's.

Quinn Quinlan - Imagination Fund Proposal

With funds from Playbook, I would finish my short film For the Boss. I filmed For the Boss over a year ago, but post-production on the film has been incredibly slow due to the fact that we can't pay anyone working on it, so we are at the mercy of their full-time jobs. All that's left to finish is the color grade, the poster design, and the score, and if I can get funds to pay the designers I've hired, that will expedite the process significantly. And it doesn't end there. For people to see this film, I have to enter it into festivals, and that is very expensive. I would use these funds to research and enter festivals worldwide that have the best chance of not only accepting For the Boss but also reaching its best and most targeted audience. You can learn more about the film below!
