Artist statement

Modeling is my passion, and being in front of the camera gives me not only the freedom to become whatever I want, but allows me to embody all that I feel. After recently receiving news of my mother having cancer, Ive been inspired to start taking self portraits to help transmute all of these overwhelming feelings that I'm experiencing all at once. With an old box, stool, and make up bag to prop my old camera on, I hang some fabric/paper on my wall, climb on my bed, and begin to create my art.
