Artist statement
I'm Mohima, and I'm a writer, director, and producer. With my latest project, I've written and developed a dramatic short titled, "The Lesson." I plan to produce and direct it this fall. I love stories—reading them, writing them, watching them. I see boundless potential in fiction, where truths can be conveyed through constructions from our wildest imaginations. I have also long been a photographer, and have always been awestruck by the impact visuals can have. And so, I sought to merge these passions in a way that can hopefully empower other storytellers like myself—and that was through film.
