An Untitled Story is a personal photo series by Sadman Sakib about fear, loss and healing, and about finding purpose again through cycling and photography. It was entered in Playbook's 2025 Photo Competition, “Hidden in Plain Sight.”
Artist statement
From a childhood fear of darkness to finding freedom on a bicycle and through a camera—this project reflects my journey. I battled addiction, lost a dear friend, and nearly gave up photography. But through pain, mentorship, and rediscovery at Counter Photo, I found my purpose again. This is a story of struggle, healing, and personal rebirth.
