Artist statement
Across the realms of Architectural Design, Animation & Illustration, Speculative Fiction, and Cultural Organizing, I create spaces for the collective imagination to breathe and spread its wings. My work bridges folktales and futurisms to create vibrant new archetypes. With the support of the Imagination Fund, I am prototyping a new form of media: Animated Folk-Scrolls. Harnessing the infinite scroll function as a storytelling medium, Folk-Scrolls use frame animations to create captivating and impactful illustrated tales inspired by surrealism and ancestral wisdom.
