Moody Photography applied to the 2024 Playbook Imagination Fund with Eat It Up, a three-part conceptual photoshoot by M00dy x Militant, the duo of Janaya Britton and Jaya Nicole, that uses food to explore over-consumption, curiosity and a hunger for change in creator culture.
Project statement
Eat it Up is a 3-part conceptual photoshoot by M00dy x Militant. Each part is a reflection of Jaya and Janaya’s thoughts on the creative process itself and the current creator culture, using food in each part to illustrate emotions of over consumption, curiosity, and a hunger for change. We later plan to collect all images and turn it into an informational zine with tips to give creators encouragement, grounding exercise for a clear mind, and other ways to show their skills.
