Artist statement

Roni Marsalis & Got Rhymes Journal Collection will impact every part of humanity. I hope to contribute to Artistic Creative Expression through my music and journals. I hope they can inspire creativity, encouraging individuals to express themselves through writing and performance. I aspire to spark Cultural Reflection by addressing themes relevant to emotional struggles and coping with heartbreaks, failures, and show a story of winning in life. I want my work to serve as a powerful reflection of cultural experiences and narratives. Intellectually I want my brand to provoke Critical Thinking. My journals include affirmations that stimulate critical thinking and self-reflection, encouraging deeper understanding of personal and societal issues. Having a 5x5 journal on the go and my lyrics advocate Literacy Promotion and enhance literacy skills, especially among youth, fostering a love for writing and storytelling.
