Hi! I’m Edmond Shen, a Year 12 (senior) student at Upper Canada College and Head of Photography for College Times, Canada’s oldest student-run publication where I lead event coverage and mentor younger photographers. I’ve photographed speakers like Martin Luther King III, Masai Ujiri, and Dr. Roberta Bondar at UCC’s World Affairs Conference, and regularly cover school events from prom to sports.

Outside of school, I’ve worked as an photographer for Holland Bloorview School, the Toronto Women’s Run, the Canadian Youth Club Summit, and the Toronto Harmony Music Festival.

I love to work with new and more advanced technology and techniques when photographing school events. I have recently developed an obsession with remote cameras (as shown in the cover shot). I constantly am trying to improve my workflow and push my equipment to its limits.
