The #ForCoral Pavilion provided a critical platform for one of the world’s most threatened, yet valuable, ecosystems at the occasion of the UN Biodiversity Conference CBD COP16, October 2024 (Cali, Colombia). Overall, we welcomed over 1,100 delegates to the Pavilion, and hosted close too 40 separate events, giving a much needed voice #ForCoral which highlighted the urgent need for coral reef conservation, fostering global collaboration and innovation to protect these vital marine ecosystems. As a beacon for collective action, the Pavilion showcased solutions to ensure the survival and resilience of coral reefs, emphasising their importance in the broader context of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
