I’m applying for the Imagination Fund to record a 🎙️Concept Demo Album for a 🏳️🌈Gay and Ai focused take on the Wizard of Oz. Set in the GAy MeTaVERS©️
It’s an EDM/Dance/Pop Club, Mixed Reality Musical I’m creating called, ‘Once Was a PopStar💫™️’ and use that Demo to secure funding 💰 for the tech development and production of the Show with the goal of disrupting Broadway with new live entertainment technology.📱💻🕹️🎞️💾
Revamping the standard Broadway business model into a more profitable, practical structure that doesn’t rely solely on ticket sales, concessions and ad’s in the Playbill. But rather have OTT and Programmatic Advertising be where the revenue comes from.
There is a completely digital character in the show. I want to build an “Ai Actor” to then hire to play a non-binary ToTo in our modernized take of The Wizard of Oz that takes place in the GAy MeTaVERS. The “Ai actor will learn the script, rehearse with the actors and perform live in realtime through A/V LLM -> unreal engine -> Real time animation and V.O. On a stage covered in LED Screens. Like the virtual production done for The Mandelorian, but, live theatre. Looking to scale the show on Broadway after workshopping in Los Angeles with the end goal of a Las Vegas Residency. Solidifying a “GAy VeGaS” destination within an untapped market, LGBTQ+ consumers who are itching for representation that can compete with our heterosexual counterparts.
I recently starting building my XR live entertainment company and we’re in pre-production for our first show/product. Imagine the Sphere in Vegas had a baby with a Broadway Theatre and was monetarily funded through programmatic advertising and OTT, transforming theatre through Ai and gaming engines like Pixar’s RenderMan and Epic Game’s Unreal Engine.👾
I would use the fund to produce and record a concept demo album in 30 days, bringing in vocalists and an audio engineer.

If I received $1K, I would not bring in other vocalists besides myself. I’d record at Pirate Studios, a turn key recording studio that you can hire for $23/hr. I’d invest $400-$500 on a tracking engineer and mix the album myself.

If I received $10K, I would do all the above, plus bring in vocalists/actors and compensate them for their time and work out a deal so everyone owns their own masters. I may or may not rent out a fancier studio than Pirate if it made sense in the budget once I bring in a producer and engineer.
