Hi, we're the team behind the project! Jésabel is the founder of The Lifestyle Lab. She's an organization and time management expert who teaches entrepreneurs and creatives how to manage their digital lives 💻 Rebekah is a designer, video game developer and a former middle school teacher 👩🏻‍🏫 We became instant internet friends 3 years ago after connecting on our mutual interest of nostalgia and early 2000's technology 🌐

💻 Past Work4 years ago, Jésabel started The Lifestyle Lab by teaching digital organization skills to adults (most of whom are neurodivergent) through classes, workshops and 1:1 sessions. This is where we realized that most adults lack skills they should have learned in school.Jésabel's study background is in anthropology and the built environment. She applies this to the digital landscape by helping her clients and students modify their digital environments by organizing and adding visual elements that help ease anxiety.Her goal is to use this style of anxiety management to help her clients build digital worlds that spark child-like creativity, rather than trigger anxiety.We've been gaining a lot of attention, especially in the last year through our partnership with Girlboss, and other collaboration like with Sophia Amoruso's Business Class.

👩🏻‍🏫 Boarding SchoolIn January, Jésabel went to teach life skills at a boarding school in Denmark for 1 month, creating educational resources and teaching live to classes of 16-17 year olds.

👩🏻‍🏫 30-Day ProjectThe e-Game will include educational mini-games and tools that will teach modern-day life skills. Before we start work on the entire game, we want to start creating the beta version of the educational resources that will go in the game. We'll do this in the form of PDFs, video workshops, worksheet templates, conversation games, journal prompts and trackers.This will be our 30-day project: To make 30 educational tools &amp; resources that teachers can use in the classrooms. We will sell these on a marketplace called <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Teachers Pay Teachers</a>, where teachers go to buy material they can use to help them teach curriculum,.We need the funds so that we can both take 30-days off of our other work and concentrate on building our first line of educational products.The market for life skills resources is quite high due to the curriculum regulations, yet the <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/browse/high-school/12th-grade/specialty/life-skills" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">resources currently available</a> for high school students is low-quality, doesn't cover most modern-day life skills and is infantilizing.The resources we're going to create will be well-designed, interactive and include an entire range of life skills that high schoolers will actually need when they enter the adult world.Below are the topics we intend to cover, as well as some design examples from Jésabel's boarding experience teaching at the Danish boarding school.

We're building an e-game 💿 that teaches life skills to high-schoolers &amp; young adults.(Think: digital organization &amp; wellness, money management, home care, conscious consumership, as well as social &amp; creative skills)

Most of us enter adulthood without the proper skills we need to survive in a world that is increasingly technological, home structures look completely different and we find ourselves struggling to manage it all.

To bring those educational resources into schools by creating an e-Game for schools.
