Fund Proposal - Wasted Youth SocietyOver the past few months I've been working to set up my own business to be able to sell my stickers online and at fairs and shows. So far, I've made @wastedyouth.society an Instagram and TikTok page where I post my art. However, I'm struggling to take the next step to make it a fully functioning business. That's where the Imagination Fund comes in! Over the 30 day period, my plan is to set myself and my business up so that I can attend the Winter 2024 One of A Kind Show in Toronto to sell my stickers. It's a very well known show, and huge annual shopping destination for the arts that happens every year. I have attended as a visitor in the past, and would love to be able to set up my business by boosting it with exposure that this show would bring.

30 Day Action Plan

Check out my designs! My sticker designs focus on nostalgia, growing up (or not wanting to at times) and youthfulness. I make stickers to bring fun, humour and sentimentality to peoples lives. My artwork often is a fresh take on classic cartoon characters, aliens and retro objects all in one. The aim is to create an alternate but wistful reality people can relate to.

I'm Alex, I'm a Canadian art school student, digital artist, illustrator, and muralist. I dabble in drawing, painting, graffiti and making videos of my art for social media. Being a professional artist has been a dream of mine for many years and I am at a place in my life now where I'm finally able to take the steps necessary to make that dream a reality. So stay awhile! Insert your bio here! My journey in design began at a young age, fueled by a fascination with how aesthetics and functionality merge in everyday objects. I pursued formal education in industrial design, where I honed my skills in user-centered design and learned the importance of empathy in creating products that not only look great but also solve real-world problems effectively. Today, as I continue to grow in my career, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what design can achieve, constantly seeking innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and bring joy to their lives.
