Rhonda PhiniseeThe Painter. A Versatile Artistic JourneyFrom an early age, I immersed myself in various forms of creative expression. My mom would encourage my brother and I by buying a lot of art supplies, kits, and enrolling us in art classes/camps. This early passion laid the foundation for a career that would have me experiment with a multitude of mediums, including painting, and mixed media. Since I love pushing my artistic boundaries I am an artist with a non-specific art style. I enjoy painting different subjects, both realistic and imaginative. My works have been in many galleries and I have done many commission-based works. My journey as an artist is a testament to the power of versatility and the endless possibilities that arise when one embraces a non-specific, ever-evolving artistic style.I believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to foster understanding and connection among people from all walks of life. Ultimately, I would like to be an advocate for the arts, passionately supporting initiatives that promote creativity and artistic education.

Also ensure that the bus has stable internet access for social media live streams**Week 3: Building Relationships and Marketing****Day 15-17: Networking and Partnerships**- Reach out to local artists, schools, and community organizations for collaboration.- Secure partnerships with local businesses for sponsorships and joint events.**Day 18-20: Marketing Strategy**- Develop a marketing strategy including social media, website, and local advertising.- Create a few A/B tests on social media ads or promotional campaigns to see what resonates best with your audience. Content Creation: As content is a major part of marketing, we would ensure that we create ways to visually represent the bus on social platforms (creating video content or behind-the-scenes material could increase engagement).- Create promotional materials (flyers, brochures, social media content).**Day 21: Soft Launch Planning**- Plan a soft launch event to introduce the mobile art bus to the community.- Prepare invitations and coordinate logistics for the event.**Week 4: Launch and Operations****Day 22-24: Staff Training and Final Preparations**- Train staff or volunteers on customer service, safety protocols, and art activities.- Create ongoing development by implementing a system for feedback. Set up a system for tracking expenses and revenues.- **Insurance:** Obtain insurance for the vehicle, liability, and business operations.- **Sustainability:** Incorporate eco-friendly practices and materials in the mobile unit and art activities. Ensure research and development to minimize the carbon footprint of the mobile unit and its materials. Look into partnerships with companies as well.- **Feedback Loop:** Establish a system for collecting feedback from participants to continually improve services. (This plan provides a structured approach to ensure that all critical aspects are covered within the first 30 days of launching a mobile art bus business.)Strengths:Clear Breakdown: The plan is segmented into actionable weekly goals, providing a step-by-step guide to follow.Diverse Focus Areas: There are multiple essential aspects such as legal setup, vehicle acquisition, partnerships, and marketing.Balanced Timing: The timeline allows time for research, customization, and outreach, without feeling rushed.Key Details: Importance noted on insurance, financial management, and sustainability are included.Soft Launch: Having a soft launch event helps test the concept and refine it before going live with the official launch.Possible Plan Revision: Week 2: Acquiring and Outfitting the Mobile Unit: Customization and Branding: Extending the timeline slightly for branding and layout design, as customization (especially if we are working with third parties) might take longer than expected.

Building the brand ourselves (within the group) or exploring options among friends/family to reduce costs

Scaling Opportunities: Long-term scaling plans? Expanding to new locations, adding more mobile units, and offering more specialized workshops.During the 30 day #imagineWithPlaybook cohort, selected artists will asynchronously create together. Artists can be based anywhere- they will just be asked to submit weekly updates on their progress in-line with their proposed plan and timeline. Artists should have clear progress to show for this period, but the project can stretch on for longer afterwards. This timeline should outline the major milestones for your project during the 30-day #Imaginewithplaybook cohort. We understand plan can change, but a detailed timeline not only keeps you on track but also shows our judges that your project is feasible! As a reminder, the criterion for judging is: 1) Originality and creativity, 2)Personal growth, 3) Community impact, and 4) Presentation and feasibility. What is your project idea and how will it help you achieve that? Our project idea is to create a mobile vehicle dedicated entirely to art, named “ArtVenture.” ArtVenture will be a transformed van or bus that functions as a mobile studio, gallery, and workshop space, traveling to different communities to bring art directly to people. This project will allow us to share and create art in diverse environments, reaching audiences who may not have easy access to traditional art spaces. In terms of mediums, we plan to use a wide variety, including painting, photography, digital art, and mixed media. The vehicle will be equipped with art supplies and tools to facilitate these various forms of artistic expression. To expand our skills, we will seek to take workshops in mobile studio design and engage with local artists in each community we visit to learn new techniques and approaches.Inspiration for this project comes from community art initiatives, the concept of art therapy, and the desire to democratize art access and book mobile. We draw inspiration from artists like Banksy, who brings art into public spaces, and projects like the Painted Desert Project, which brings art to remote communities.

What kind of impact—artistic, intellectual, communal, civic, social, political, environmental—do you hope your project will have?ArtVenture aims to have a multifaceted impact:• Artistic: By creating a mobile platform, ArtVenture will encourage the creation and appreciation of art outside of traditional settings, inspiring new artistic expressions and collaborations.• Intellectual: Through workshops and interactive art sessions, the project will stimulate intellectual curiosity and creativity, fostering a deeper understanding of different art forms and cultural narratives.• Communal: ArtVenture will strengthen community bonds by providing a shared space for artistic engagement and dialogue. It will also support local artists by featuring their work and hosting collaborative events.• Civic: The project will promote civic pride and cultural heritage by highlighting local stories and histories through art.• Social: By bringing art to underserved areas, ArtVenture will address social inequalities in art access, promoting inclusivity and diversity.• Political: The project will provide a platform for social and political expression, encouraging dialogue on important issues through art.•Environmental: ArtVenture will use sustainable materials and practices, promoting environmental awareness and responsibility.

Vy Truong My creative practice has always been the heartbeat of my existence, deeply intertwined by my Vietnamese heritage and the vibrant environments that shape my experiences. I draw inspiration from the dynamic, immersive splash arts from various online video games such as League of Legends, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. These artworks resonate with me, not only for the intricate details, but for the stories and emotions they carry in artistic pieces.Art has been an integral part of my life from a young age. I grew up learning from my mother, who would often sketch floral designs, and my stepfather, who created family portraits over the years. This early exposure to art led me to study at Kendall College and continue developing my skills throughout elementary and high school. Even as I ventured into the world onto an academic path, I maintained a strong connection to art, treating it as a dedicated pursuit alongside my studies. As I continue to evolve, my passion remains deeply rooted in the developed relationships and the inspirations that have guided me on this journey. My goal is to continue on this journey and to explore new dimensions in illustration while staying true to the influences that shaped me.
