Use this field guide before an automated Yelp reply is allowed to leave the queue.1. Confirm the source and contextVerify that the inquiry came from Yelp and that the latest message belongs to the correct conversation. Keep business hours, service area, and the customer's actual request in context.2. Separate safe facts from decisionsAutomation can acknowledge the lead, restate supported services, ask a focused follow-up question, and share configured availability or pricing rules. A person should review anything involving complaints, refunds, legal threats, safety concerns, discrimination, medical issues, unusual guarantees, or a request that conflicts with business policy.3. Keep quotes inside configured rulesAuto-Respond supports AI-powered dynamic quote generation based on the lead details and the business's configured services, prices, and rules. Treat a quote as configured guidance, not a guaranteed final price. Escalate unclear scope, custom work, and requests that need inspection.4. Preserve channel boundariesA Yelp response should match the information and actions allowed for that channel. Do not imply that every lead source supports the same automatic sending behavior. Confirm identity, consent, and handoff rules before moving the conversation to phone or another channel.5. Make the handoff usefulWhen a person needs to step in, include the original question, the proposed reply, the reason for escalation, and the missing fact. Do not make the customer repeat information already provided.6. Review after launchSample replies regularly for factual accuracy, tone, routing, and conversion quality. Update configured services, prices, and escalation rules when the business changes. For the full workflow and implementation notes, read the Auto-Respond Yelp auto responder guide:https://auto-respond.com/blog/yelp-auto-responder/
