Hi all!I'm Boaz, an engineer, artist, and YouTuber from Murray Kentucky. Some of my past work that I am most proud of includes a 3D printed Camera, Custom Taillights for my 1990 Mazda Miata, and custom camera lenses for both my iPhone and camera.I just got out of college in May and am still figuring out what all I want to do with my life, but what I know is that I want to help people create and make their life easier. One project I did to try to make peoples lives easier is developing a mobile app for my university campus: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/msu-smart-park/id6478200886This was designed to help people find available parking and save them time.I received a $5000 grant 2 years ago to attempt to make a smart parking system for my campus and after looking at methods like machine learning, drone videography for parking analysis, and developing custom hardware and software to display the number of cars in real time on an led sign I decided the app was the best path forward. What I love most about my degree in engineering is that it allows me to take on every aspect of a project from hardware and software. I get to truly understand the stuff I make and I hope that comes across in the content that I make about it!

My project idea is simple, I want to make recording yourself with your smartphone effortless.Today if you want to record yourself with the back camera the process kinda sucks, I like to say, it is really hard to record yourself well when you can't see yourself at all. There are a few existing solutions to try and solve this problem, such as the camera app on Apple Watches. The issue with this is that you don't have full control of the camera and you can't use social media apps like TikTok, Insta, or YouTube to record. But for the past 6 months I've been working on a solutions and I call it CineSolo. CineSolo is a wireless touchscreen monitor designed specifically for your smartphone that allows you to view and control your screen in every app.I believe that this will have a profound artistic benefit for many creators. I have actually done about 30 interviews with YouTubers and other creatives most notable Colin and Samir who host the largest creator economy YouTube channel on the internet. They are who first believed in me and this idea, giving me a $500 grant to get to the prototype I show on this board. The next steps for this project are to go from that prototype to something that is faster, smaller, and more capable. And I plan to do this by partnering with the Product Refinery. The Product Refinery specializes in taking ideas from a concept drawing to a finished project. I've met with their team several times and I think that the best path forward is to work with them in order to progress to a project that is ready for launch on Kickstarter! The number they said I need to get to this next step is $10,000.I was awarded $10,000 from Kentucky Commercialization Ventures right before I graduated college this May. But due to my graduation they weren't able to actually distribute these funds to me, so I am currently back to square one and have lost some of my confidence. What the Inspiration Fund would mean to me is that I can finally have confidence in my creations. All of my life I have just wanted to create cool stuff and share it with the world, but due to financial burdens I've never been able to dive really deep on a project and take it past that first initial prototype. Thanks for your consideration!Boaz
