About the projectAs a recent grad in the stressful world of corporate tech, I often found myself looking for little ways to escape from the stress after work. One of the most grounding hobbies I picked up was creating little whimsical clay figurines and pottery pieces. In a world where we're surrounded by screens and notifications and the endless allure of social media scrolling, there's something healing about the simple act of sculpting clay--of feeling a shapeless cold lump soften under your fingers and transform into something from your imagination. This sparked my vision for Cozy Corner Co., a brand that aims to share the comfort of crafting through easy DIY clay crafting kits. Since it can often feel intimidating to pick up clay for the first time, these kits will eliminate common beginner pitfalls and help people create unique pieces with confidence. I want to launch with a focus on air dry clay (which make things more accessible since you won't need an oven or a kiln to bake your pieces) and simple projects like trinket trays (which help build fundamental sculpting skills).
