Jordyn Tareaz Imagination Fund Application — It's Not Like The Movies

Artist statement

Hello! My name is Jordyn Tareaz and I'm a multi disciplinary artist. Though my main mediums include singing, songwriting and producing, I'm also a creative director, clothing designer, videographer/video editor, graphic designer, dancer and content creator. Being a musician has allowed all of my creative interests to seamlessly come together to create the world that my music lives in. As a pop musician my influences come from all the greatest pop divas who came before me and elements found in alternative and rock music. My visual aesthetic can be describes as where glamour meets grunge. I pull from elements of old Hollywood fantasy combined with harsh realities of today. All of those this have led to create my biggest work to date, my debut EP "It's Not Like The Movies".
