Artist statement

This is a series from 2018-ongoing that explores the phenomenology of spirituality through the ontological perspective of photography. Every image here is purely photographic, with slow shutter, double exposure and masking. These images are a mix of found and staged moments, inspired by the rising influence of transcendental experiences in culture, by way of meditation, yoga, near death experiences, psychedelics, eastern philosophy, quantum mechanics. We are crossing the threshold collectively.
