Bones: Vanishing of the Genuine is a half-frame 35mm film and digital photo series by Bard Ionson about the cycle of life and death, built around a deer skull found by the side of a road. It was entered in Playbook's 2025 Photo Competition, “Hidden in Plain Sight.”
