Artist statement
Nothing exemplifies "Hidden in Plain Sight" to me more than tide pools. A glance at the surface of the water rarely hints at the true extent of the vibrant communities teeming underneath... The world beneath the surface hides predator and prey alike, from the colorful and flashy to the slow and quiet. If you know what stones to turn over, what crevices to search, you'll find a whole new world hidden in plain sight.
