Many days spent in the garden & hours upon hours wandering the woods have led me to find a much deeper appreciation for the incredible beauty of this earth. I feel forever inspired by the seemingly imaginative worlds I have stumbled upon, and the endless trails of little miracles. When I walk through the forest, I can't help but notice the intricate patterns in the veins on the leaves, the complexity of a spiderweb shining in the sunlight, and the brilliant rainbow of colours that soften my eyes. I think about the innate ability of Mother Earth, of Gaia, to continually create beauty, amidst the chaos that exists in this universe. I ask her to help me remember that I too, that we too, can continually create beauty amidst the chaos of our own minds. My commitment to connecting with the Earth in a more conscious way has allowed me to open doors I didn't know were there. My perspectives have widened far beyond what I could've imagined, and a new feeling of being at home has emerged in my heart. When we pause to observe the beauty around us, when we listen to what the winds have to say, when we stop to smell the roses.. life becomes more magical- just like it is in the fairy tales. But how do we show people this mystical, ambient world? We're living in an era where instant gratification is around every corner, and flashing lights capture all attention. Where everyone is in a rush and focused on the next moderate sense of satisfaction. The current linear way of living is quite opposite of nature. It takes times to observe the intricacies and the nuances of the way the plants grow, the way the clouds pass, the way the water washes upon the shore. It takes presence and patience, curiosity and intrigue. It's a journey that reveals itself along the way. Upon the sacred pause deep in awareness, you will be gifted with more beauty than you could ever imagine.Nature guides us. She has all the answers, if we simply just listen. I'd love to live in a world where more of us can realize this. There's no need to be a shaman to know this, or a herbalist or have a masters degree in horticulture. We all have the innate ability to connect to the world around us. I believe this is truly the connection every human on the planet is craving. What better way to help people reconnect with nature than to use the technology at our fingertips? It may be the only way.My idea for this project proposal involves helping people reconnect with the beautiful world around us. Why? So we can come back to our roots, come back to a sense of safety and security and feeling held. So we can come back to that feeling of being at home, and experiencing a connection to life that teaches us everything we'd love to know.I'm creating a collection of guided meditations that people can have in their pocket, to listen to as they walk outdoors. I love to write and create meditations, and feel they offer a simple yet potentially very deep way of integrating thoughts and experiences. I feel meditations can bridge the inner imaginal realms with the physical world around us. They help bring thought into form.My words will guide us back into a place of awe and wonder of the natural world. Perspectives will shift, and eyes will expand along new horizons as they start to focus more upon the intricacies of the life surrounding us. Nature has SO many lessons we can learn, vibrations we can tap into and hold- lessons of presence, patience, abundance, adaptation, flow, change, letting go, growing, seeing, listening, tasting, touching, feeling, beauty, life, death, nourishment, support, safety, connection- just to name a few (the list is truly infinite). we will come back into a deeper connection with the elements- the water, the air, the earth, the fire, the ether. These meditations will simply help us to reconnect to our true nature, through nature.I wish for everyone to explore more of the beauty we are gifted with. It's all here for us to discover. I think it's critical right now seeing as the world is in a wild state of madness. I believe interacting with nature may just be the perfect medicine we all need to return to the heart, to return to a state of love. I feel a collection like this will have profound potential in the healing of the collective. I can envision these meditations reaching people all over the world, exploring all different landscapes- mountains, rivers, forests, fields, gardens. I imagine people from all walks of life finding serenity in these landscapes, stepping into the unknown and discovering something far more beautiful than they could ever imagine.Thank you for taking the time to read this. It's been a dream of mine for quite some time, since the days I was in horticulture school and wanting everyone to see through the eyes of a gardener. I imagine this imagination fund will help to support making this as big as possible! Marketing, professional editing, outreach- simply getting this out there to the world. Super excited about this!

It's essential that we get back into nature.

Choosing to live in the more beautiful world that our hearts know is possible. It usually only takes a moment of coming back to the breath, to realize how incredibly beautiful this universe is. Comprehending the complexities and simplicities of absolutely everything that exists allows me to surrender deeper and deeper into the unknown. I have found a sense of home in the heart that is intricately and intimately connected to All That Is, still discovering more depths in each moment that I am alive. I am slowly stepping into the awareness of being, noticing the fact that I am what I choose. Through the waves of emotions, I continually gain new perspectives about the innerstanding of the I Am presence. I have found that curiosity inspires creativity. Leaning into the unknown and silencing the mind for a moment has truly allowed me to expand my creative horizons, infinitely. I am in the midst of bringing my inner authentic artist to life by exploring the fields of forever, the fields of infinite potential. Leaning into the language of flowers & the language of sound has encouraged me to find my own language of creative expression.I aspire to inspire others to witness & experience the profound beauty that exists all around us. Years spent in the gardens and wandering the lands have led me to believe that we can reconnect to our true nature, through nature. With a focus on flowers, I've travelled through many musings. What once started as floral greeting cards drawn with the humble 0.005 micron pen, these illustrations have evolved into inspirational wall art, custom designs, logos, tattoo art, album covers, festival art, clothing. These images beautifully capture my journey of illustrating thus far, but my art is also continuing to go deeper into new worlds of poetry and music. I craft unique sound journeys for people, and absolutely love creating guided meditations that bring us back into a place of presence. If it wasn't for my passion with connecting to the plant world, mama Gaia, beautiful Earth, I don't think I would have discovered the beauty that exists here on this planet. It's my love for the Earth that allows me to fall in love with life.
