Based in São Paulo, Brazil, I am a photographer, visual artist, educator, and writer whose work explores experimental photography, image research, body hybridization, and the deconstruction of the subject. I hold a Bachelor's degree and a teaching license in Visual Arts from São Paulo State University (UNESP), and my artistic practice weaves together photographic, performative, and literary languages. My research also informs the development of educational practices grounded in visual culture and experimentation.
In my current conceptual work, I investigate the relationship between life and light—examining the psychic and creative connections that emerge in moments of transformation. At the edge of darkness, the living body loses its head—literally and metaphorically—dismembering itself in response to the unknown. Entering the void becomes both a risk and an opportunity: to shrink, to merge, to die, or to be reborn.
I engage with the hybrid, interconnected nature of bodies and the earth, exploring their potential to dissolve boundaries, which merge both in front of and at the edge of transformation.Rather than simply evoke a sense of belonging within landscapes, images, or other bodies, my work seeks to understand the transience of all forms—living and non-living—as they move through cycles of passage.
