INDEPENDENT GLOBAL IMPACT
INDEPENDENT GLOBAL IMPACT
Formed in London in 2019, Voltstorm have built their reputation without major label infrastructure, external funding, or industry shortcuts.
Released independently via L.B.C. Records, their debut full-length album Break The Silence (2024) secured critical acclaim across the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Italy, and the United States, including two rare ★★★★★ 10/10 reviews establishing Voltstorm as one of the most credible independent British heavy metal acts of their generation.
Within one release cycle, the band progressed from independent studio release to main stage festival appearances and 2026 UK tour support alongside established NWOBHM icons. This growth has been entirely self-driven.

THE STORY
THE STORY
Voltstorm began with a clear philosophy: write structured, stage-ready heavy metal that honours tradition without imitating it.
Their 2022 self-titled EP laid the foundation with live staples such as One Life, The Game, and No Surrender, introducing a disciplined songwriting approach built for impact.
In 2024, Break The Silence marked a decisive step forward heavier production, broader dynamics, and festival calibre arrangements.
In 2025, Voltstorm reached a defining milestone with a main stage appearance at Hard Rock Hell Festival, followed by a standout performance at Planet Rockstock.
These appearances confirmed the band’s ability to deliver at major UK rock events. Later that year, the band released Live Silence (2025) a seven-track live album documenting the clarity, precision, and controlled intensity of their stage performance.
In 2026, Voltstorm join Tygers Of Pan Tang and Demon on UK tour dates, reinforcing their integration into the British heavy metal lineage.

SOUND & IDENTITY
SOUND & IDENTITY
Voltstorm do not reinvent heavy metal they execute it with discipline.
Fronted by John D. Prasec, whose vocal range combines melodic lift with steel-edged authority, the band’s identity is structurally anchored by Stef Nurra.
Nurra’s guitar work blends NWOBHM phrasing with modern tonal precision, creating a riff architecture that is both classic and contemporary.
Ben Turner (bass) and Hugo Terva (drums) provide dynamic depth and rhythmic control, ensuring the band’s live delivery is tight, deliberate, and impactful.
The result is not nostalgia it is continuation.

"Voltstorm isn’t reinventing metal. They’re just doing it better than most right now. If you’re into anthems that make you want to drive too fast, lyrics that don’t feel manufactured in a writing room, and guitars that scream without apology Break the Silence is your next obsession. Just don’t blame me if you miss your train."
