Learn about L'Ouverture, an absurdist horror film from the mind of Maggie Deer.

L'Ouverture is an experimental, production design focused film that will bring together over 40 artists and filmmakers. From prop and costume fabricators, puppet builders, carpenters, dancers, actors, gaffers, and cinematographers, this project will be a culmination of so many different artists coming together to create a visually stunning film.

The Imagination Fund would allow our crew to purchase the materials needed to fabricate the set, puppets, props, and costumes, as well as rent camera and lighting equipment. Thank you for your consideration towards helping us build a beautiful world for L'Ouverture.
