Artist Statement

My name is Solomon Abalaka, and I am a Toronto based self taught graphic artist, photographer, videographer, and clothing designer. I was born and raised in Abuja,Nigeria. Coming from a family of artists I have always had a predisposition towards curiosity and an outside the box thinking, coupled with my interests in music, art and film, My art became an expression of my experiences, thoughts, abstract perception of reality, and raw emotions. My art style is vivid, thought provoking, dark, vibrant, and maximal.
