My Proposal

Concept:

HobbyHue is a digital platform designed to inspire Black women to discover, engage with, and cultivate hobbies that align with their moods, goals, and lifestyles. Using a personalized filter system, users can find hobbies that fit criteria like mood, season, time commitment, and play style (solo or group activities). The platform will be built on WordPress, making it user-friendly and easily scalable. The platform will use AI-generated art created with tools like Midjourney to design unique hobby cards that visually represent each activity. As a Learning Experience Designer, my goal is to utilize AI to enhance digital design skills, explore new creative avenues, and create engaging learning experiences that feel personalized and resonant.

HobbyHue is more than just a hobby discovery platform; it's a transformative digital space that encourages Black women to play, create, and connect in a way that honors their individuality and builds a strong, supportive community.

My primary audience is Black women who are seeking ways to enrich their lives through hobbies, play, and community building. The platform will cater to those who are looking for a creative outlet, self-care activities, or simply a way to bring more joy into their daily routines.
