Aloha! Im Vitoria Byrne, from Kahuku Hawaii and I am an Artist/ Designer. Im currently working at Urban Outfitters as a sweaters designer. and in my free time I continue to paint and sew.

I completed my senior thesis for college a little over a year ago and It has really served as a starting point for the work I want to continue. Since working as a corporate designer I haven't prioritized creating in the same way I did in school. This fund would allow me to purchase the materials to create a garment that can combine the knowlege Ive gained from working in the industry, reflections on my collection and where I want to take my art practice, inspirations from recent travel ect. I love the work that I do on a daily basis designing sweaters that are sold across the country but I can't deny the part of me that yearns to make work that is so out of the ordinary, so intricate, so delicate and bold that you can't look away.
