Import syncs & connections

Learn how to connect Playbook to the tools already in your creative workflow from design tools to automation platforms.

Playbook integrates with a growing list of external tools so your files, feedback, and workflows stay connected across the apps you use every day.

Cloud storage imports

Bring your existing files into Playbook directly from Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. These sync-based imports let you pull in assets without re-uploading from scratch, keeping your libraries up to date as your source files change.

Figma

Connect to the Playbook plugin for Figma to push assets directly from your Figma files into Playbook boards without leaving your design environment. Great for handing off final assets or archiving work-in-progress exports.

  1. Install Playbook plugin to your Figma account
  2. Sign-in to your Playbook workspace
  3. In a Figma project, open the Playbook plugin
  4. Drag and drop assets from Playbook straight into your design

Midjourney / Discord

If you're generating images with Midjourney, you can connect it to Playbook via Discord to automatically funnel your AI-generated outputs into your workspace. No more manually saving and re-uploading from Discord.

  1. Install Midjourney to your personal Discord server
  2. "Apps" --> Midjourney --> Connect your Playbook board to Midjourney
  3. Start generating Midjourney art on Discord

Slack

Connect Slack to keep your team in the loop. Share Playbook assets and boards directly in Slack channels, or get notified about activity in your workspace without switching tabs.

This integration creates a two-way sync. Once connected, uploads and comments relay instantly from Playbook to Slack to keep your whole team in the loop. Either click to get back to Playbook, or reply directly in the Slack thread and your comments will be relay right back to Playbook.

  1. Start from any board in Playbook
  2. Click "..." and then "Connect to Slack" from the board menu
  3. Pick a Slack channel and connect!

Automation with Zapier

Zapier lets you build custom automated workflows between Playbook and thousands of other apps - no code required. For example, you could automatically add assets to a Playbook board whenever a new file is added to a Google Drive folder, or notify a Slack channel when a new board is shared.

  1. "Apps" -> "Zapier" -> Login to a Zapier account
  2. Create & save a zap connection
  3. Use your saved workflows
